Where the Hell have I been?

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, I've gathere you all here today... LOL JK. Time for an update... Where were we? Who cares, where are we and where are we going? MANY MANY things have occured and I haven't been totally authentic in my life so that's about to change.

I am currently weighing in at 355. For those keeping track, that's 108 pounds out the door. I seem to be floundering there. Not sure if it's because Im not a participant in a Weight loss challenge or if something else is going on. I have just taken the Landmark Forum and I have a new clarity in my life and believe my weight will start droping again this week.

I am also a Wellness / Weight Loss Coach in a challenge. Turns out one of my participants has lost 12 pounds. so I'm very happy. I'm also teaching this weeks lesson on Metabolism. I'm trying to make it fun and interesting as opposed to boring and matter of fact.

I'll let you all know where I'm at for Weight loss and how my participants are doing Sat evening.

Daaaammmn, It's been a while!!

Well let's see several things have happened in my life and my life is in a bit of an upheaval.

OK I'm getting divorced, and my X and kids have moved to Kentucky, appx 900 miles away. I can still come down to see them, but it's not going to be easy.

My grandmother passed a couple weeks ago, wake and funeral wer beautiful, but sad. She lived to almost 92 so a full life was had, and she got her Harley Ride before she went to the better place.

And of course Easter...

However I forged on and have come out unscathed. Minor setbacks, but nothing permanent. Regardless of whatever, I went down another 8.9 pounds and I'm currently @ 96.6 pounds lost, 366.4 actual weight now and 3.4 pounds til I cross the 100 pounds lost mark!!!

WOOHOO Thanks to God, Family, Friends and HERBALIFE!!!

More Loss and a internal Challenge!!!

On Sat. 3/7 I went to my weigh in, got on the scale and Woohoo!!!! 6.3 more pounds gone I now weigh 380 pounds!!!!!!! I'm 17 pounds away from losing 100 pounds which should be gone by 2 week from that day... the 21st.

Now for the challenge I left that challenge and got on a plane heading for Las Vegas!!! Home of free alcohol for gamblers and the Giant Buffet. However I think I'm in enough control of me to come back to the next weigh in and weigh 7 pounds less, even after all the Vegas Crap being thrown at me. I intend to eat, and have a few drinks, but I think I can behave as I've reprogrammed me to be a better eater, better person...

So now, I'm back from Sin City and I definitely have to wait for Saturdays weigh in. I have no idea where I am in this body... I ate and ate well and ate more than I should have. Nowhere near what I would have. 1 Well loaded plate as opposed to multiple trips. So that was a big difference for me. Next time just a sitdown restaurant, no buffet's I think. I drank, again not as much as I would have but more than the average person. However in all this I also managed to take in several shakes at the hotel and the airports instead of shoveling crap in. And this week also marks the start of my tea consumption. I drank several 17 ounce bottles of water that I had put Herbalife's Herbal Tea Concentrate into and as some of you may know, Herbalifer's call it drink and shrink, because it burns 80 calories just by drinking it. I'm having one right now.

So I definitely need to detoxify, I felt crappy when I came back and today 2 shakes, egg white omelet and on my tea right now. Taking my pills which I also took to Vegas with me. Right now my overall assessment is that I didn't do great by a long shot, but I know where I've been and this trip for me?... I didn't do too bad. Me and single trip to the buffet could never be said in the same sentence til this trip. I also avoided starches and nitrate foods as much as I could. No waffles, pancakes, potatoes etc... just proteins and veggies. Bad side... lots of sauces on everything.

My drinks however were not so hot. Vodka Cranberry Juice (Cape Codder) for all you northeasters and Cape Coddah for all you Massholes... 189 calories each for a 6 oz. glass, they were small. 189 times many is a lot.

So now I do what I can for the rest of the week and hope I can make my challenge a reality. Wish me luck...

Bigger Drop

OK Y nothing last week? Because I thought I'd done well but believe the scale battery was dying. As well as I thought I'd done, it was up 2 pounds. I wouldn't accept it. But my coach logged it so it's in the books. However this week. 7.3 pounds down!!!

So now I'm down a total of 77 pounds since the 3rd week of Sept., 08. My energy is through the roof and my entire eating strategy.... wow strategy, I just saw that. Not plan, not system, but strategy, I'm attacking my fat self with nutrition and good food.

I'm doing Herbalife and feeling Awesome, I'm now drinking 5 shakes a day with 3 scoops of protein powder, 2 scoops of shake mix and skim milk. I also now eat egg white omelets, and 2 chicken breast and a quart of broccoli.

Big jump from chinese food, burgers, McDonalds, and more crap than you can imagine.

77 Pounds, I never imagined. Just filled in my tracker I made in Google Docs (spreadsheet) and my BMI has also gone down from 59 to 50.

Two weeks combined = 8.5 pounds

Happy Valentines Day Everybody!!!

I didn't get a chance to get up here last week So here are the results... Last week I lost 3.5 pounds YEAH!!!!! Finally a downward slope, We weighed in again today, Valentines Day and I lost 5 more pounds, Hooray for Herbalife, Those shakes are amazing. Full all the time, Protein's up, Carbs and Fat are down, it's all good!!!

So I am now settling in at 391.6 Under the 400 pound mark for good. I also decided I was going to be nice to myself, when I hit the 100 pounds lost mark, I'm buying myself a laptop, 30 pounds and 500 dollars to go!!

NEW CHALLENGE JUST STARTED!!!

Ok Everybody, I'm back!!!  And 1/24 started a whole new weight loss challenge.  These challenges are offered worldwide through Herbalife distributors, and I joined again for my 2nd round.

I managed to maintain through the holidays, I'm in the middle of getting divorced and still sat at the just under 400 mark.  I was 398 last week at the registration and due to current circumstances, have been eating a shitload of chicken and seafood salad, I went up 1 for the start.  Yeah!!! NOT!  

Both packed w/ mayo, both made somewhere else, both have added sugar, pretty high on the list of ingredients. Chicken Salad scored better, with 24 g's of protein for your 300+ calories, the seafood salad only provided 5 g's of protein for almost the same calories.  However both proved to be very bad.

That being said I now have chicken breast filets and a ginormous bag of broccoli in the freezer. Great for that meal after having my shakes during the day. And more water than I ever imagined.  I hate water and I drink anywhere from 4 .5 liter bottles to 12 .5 liter bottles a day. Yeah 6 liters, 200 something ounces.  I have a hard time getting that in every day but I try and get in as much as I can.  So I get on the scale @ home and the number is down from the other day.  I will only use the scale at the challenge as a grade for my up and downedness.  The scale here is about 5 pounds off of that one.

So here we go another 12 weeks of nutrition info that I will gladly put up here on this site to help educate anyone who wants to hear it...

Want to Scream, then some good news...



So last week seamed rough for some reason, money's tight, ran out of shake mix, and then having a rough night at work, I devoured no less than 3 items off the grill. CheeseyBrats made by the same co. that makes them for the New England Patriots. Then lots of grazing, then the day we decorated the tree, we had tons of appetizers, pulled pork sliders, Brie in Bread bowl dip, spinach dip, scallops in bacon, chicken fajitas, tons of litle finger food, christmas music, a beautiful tree, family and fun... BAD for diet... so up to 403 time to get back in the saddle, so I made Sat after weigh in my cheat day, I had some cheese cake, and just some crap I shouldn't have had.

Then this AM (Sunday) I got up and had a meeting in RI with a Million Club Herbalife Distributor. Who went over the business plan with me and Noreen my coach and Judy who was the other coach in the last Challenge. In some ways I've become their model student, and showboat for Herbalife, 60 pounds in 8 weeks doing just Herbalife, My coach wants me on the weight loss challenge site, the herbalife site and their catalogs and books, pays money. I'm going to be an official distributor for Herbalife as of tomorrow, and I'm going to be one of the Coach's in training for the next challenge, as well as a participant. I've learned I can make quite a bit of bank as a distributor and coach so I think this will work for me. And I'm helping the world get a little healthier a few people at a time.
